Growing up with two younger brothers, mum would send us out to a friends farm to burn off energy. It was from a very young age I learnt to appreciate the special relationships between Canine and human.
Watching working dogs happily doing their job assisting the farmer, made me realise that a career involved with working dogs was my ultimate goal.
As I grew older I decided being a policeman was what I wanted to do, and when I learnt I could move forward to become a Police Dog Handler, well... I was pretty stoaked!
My ultimate goal got pushed further into my teens when I fell in love with Brazilian Jujitzu. After putting in alot of hard work, I have now earn't my brown belt and can't wait to take my training to a professional level. This training will be of huge asset in my application to the Police Force. In aid of my application I decided work in a canine related industry would also be greatly beneficial. I decided to 'retire' from my sales consultant position to obtain a job at The Hounds Hangout.
Dealing with dogs on a daily basis and having loads of fun whilst working makes it easier to get up early and go to 'work'. I don't call it work when your being paid to do something you love!
